Biography

Yonah Freemark

Yonah Freemark is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His current research examines the role of interjurisdictional competition and coordination in the development of regional transportation infrastructure projects. His work focuses on France and the U.S. He has also studied affordable housing policy, public housing history, and zoning policy. He received his undergraduate degree in architecture from Yale University, and master's degrees in city planning and transportation from M.I.T. Before commencing his doctoral studies he was an urban planner in Chicago.
