Pawel Dobrzanski is assistant professor of economics and a faculty member in the department of mathematical economics at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. His primary research interests lie in regional development, innovation ecosystems, economic growth, effectiveness of economies, international competitiveness, inequality, and innovation.
At the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES), Dobrzanski’s research project will focus on regional imbalances in the European Union. Particularly, he will examine the influence of interdependencies between regions on regional growth from the innovation ecosystems perspective. His project seeks to make a broader contribution to understanding the main forces of regional growth within the EU.
