Roumiana “Roumy” Theunissen oversees the administration of the Visiting Scholars and Fellows Program, manages the Center’s academic and special events, and supports outreach efforts to engage students and partner organizations in the Boston area. Most recently, she worked as a Researcher on security and nonproliferation issues at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, at the Harvard Kennedy School. Roumy graduated from Harvard College in 2008 with an A.B. cum laude in Government and language citations in French and Russian. While at Harvard, she was awarded the Thomas Hoopes Prize for her senior thesis on “Europe’s Soft Power.” She also received an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
