Stanley H. Hoffmann Undergraduate Travel and Research Fund

The Stanley H. Hoffmann Undergraduate Travel and Research Fund was established to honor the life work of Stanley H. Hoffmann, who served as the Paul and Catherine Buttenwieser University Professor and taught at Harvard University from 1955 until his retirement in 2013. Hoffmann was also the co-founder of the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies.

The grant recognizes his innovative interdisciplinary studies of international relations and political thought and his devoted commitment to the liberal arts. Harvard College students applying for summer internships in Europe or senior thesis grants related to social studies, government, history, literature, or French studies are eligible for this award and will be automatically considered by the selection committee.
