John F. Kennedy Memorial Policy Fellowship (For Short-Term Stays)

Sigmar Gabriel, John F. Kennedy Memorial Policy Fellow (2018-2019)

CES regularly hosts distinguished academics, journalists and public servants as John F. Kennedy Memorial Policy Fellows. During their stay, Fellows:

  • Give a number of public lectures and share their insights on the areas of their expertise with students and faculty.
  • Participate in events on campus and at CES that benefit their own professional and intellectual interests.
  • Leverage their time at Harvard as a short period of intellectual reflection and as an opportunity to leverage Harvard’s significant resources.

Most CES short-term visitors are John F. Kennedy Memorial Policy Fellows supported by the JFK Memorial Fellowship established in 1966 to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas between the Harvard community and leading German academics, journalists and policymakers. The fellowship supports Germany’s most outstanding thinkers to share their research, writing and ideas as well as providing the intellectual atmosphere and resources of Harvard to help advance their academic and professional goals.

All questions concerning Short-Term Memorial Policy Fellowship opportunities should be addressed to Communications Manager Gila Naderi.
