- Study Group chairs are a diverse and astute group of local faculty and professionals who seek to advance the scholarly exchange of research and ideas relative to contemporary Europe.
Study Group Leaders
- A Study Group may be initiated and co-chaired by two to five faculty, graduate students or affiliates of Harvard or nearby universities who share similar research interests and academic objectives. At the end of the Study Group's three-year term, chairs may reapply for renewal.
- Study Groups meet regularly throughout the academic year and sponsor at least two talks per semester. Together chairs plan discussion topics, invite guest speakers, liaise with CES staff on scheduling and oversee events. CES provides Study Groups with financial support, space for events, some administrative support and publicity for events.
