Europe is often rightfully criticized for being undemocratic. But there might also be a unique democratic potential inherent to its constitution. Jaklic argues that Europe’s new post-sovereign context has opened the possibility to initiate a new historic leap in our understanding and expansion of democracy, and shows how this potential might be realized.
