This is the first annual Gaetano Salvemini Lecture, honoring the Italian anti-fascist politician, historian, and writer, who was a professor of History at Harvard between 1933 and 1948. The Lecture is sponsored with the Italian Consulate of Boston and co-organized by Charles Maier, Renato Camurri and Giuseppe Pastorelli.
